First federal prisoner was executed in the US in 17 years

An ex white supremacist convicted of murdering a family was executed by giving a lethal injection; it was the first federal execution in 17 years. Daniel Lewis Lee is the first of 3 federal inmates scheduled to be executed this week. As per a reporter who observed the execution, Lee declared his innocence in his final statement. The SC lifted the lower court order overnight & cleared the path for execution.
