Amirul Hasan Zaidi, a former district bar association president, who announced a Rs. 11 lakh reward for "beheading" Waseem Rizvi, the former Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board, has been booked under the charges of promoting enmity between classes and criminal intimidation. Zaidi announced the reward after Rizvi moved SC seeking the removal of 26 verses from the Quran that he alleged "promote terrorism and jihad".
