Ecuador turns down Nithyananda's request for refuge, says he may be heading to Haiti

The absconding self-styled godman Nithyananda, who has been accused of rape and molestation and has formed his own country 'Kailaasa' near Equador, turned to Equador to seek refuge. However, the South American country has announced that it has denied Nithyananda's request for refuge and currently he has left for the country "presumably Haiti." The mission "categorically" denied reports that Nithyananda was given "asylum by Ecuador.
