Drug inspector caught red-handed while taking Rs 1.4 lakh bribe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau has booked a Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration inspector for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe. FDA Inspector Arvind Kandelkar had demanded Rs 5 lakh for not taking any legal action against a sweets manufacturing unit in the Rabale area of Navi Mumbai. When ACB was informed about it they laid a trap and caught Kandelkar while he came to take Rs 1.4 lakh as a bribe in Airoli.
