The protesting farmers at the Singhu border attacked two assistant sub-inspectors -- ASI Ramesh and Chandra Singh, of Delhi Police. The demonstrators allegedly assaulted the assistant sub-inspectors of the Special Branch team. The incident happened after Delhi Police's Special Branch went to the protest site after reports of an increase in the number of protesters. The demonstrators were allegedly instigated by a female protestor.
