Delhi Police constable who died in Delhi riots was shot dead

According to the sources from Delhi Police, Head Constable Ratan Lal, who was killed in northeast Delhi on Monday during violent protests over the citizenship law, died of gunshot wounds. The 42-year-old officer was killed near Dayalpur Police Station by miscreants around noon when the violence was at its peak. Reports had earlier suggested that the cop was killed in the stone-throwing, but Delhi Police dismissed the report.
