Delhi High Court dismisses Nirbhaya convict Pawan Gupta's juvenile claim

The Delhi High Court today dismissed a plea from one of Nirbhaya's rapists claiming he was a juvenile when he and five others gang-raped the paramedic student in December 2012. The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000 on the convict's lawyer, AP Singh, for failing to appear despite repeated calls. Yesterday, the Supreme Court rejected a review plea filed by Akshay Kumar Singh, another convict on death row.
