Delhi cab driver dupes US national of Over Rs 90,000 after convincing him of shutdown

A cab driver in Delhi allegedly tricked a US national of USD1,294 (more than Rs 90,000) on Monday. The Police has arrested the driver after a case of cheating was lodged. He told the tourist that the roads were closed due to the festive season and took him to a fake tour agency in Connaught Place. The staff there told him that the city was closed and connected him to an alleged representative of the hotel in Paharganj.
