Davinder's link with Afzal Guru wouldn’t have affected verdict: Judge

Justice SN Dhingra, who awarded the death penalty to terrorist Afzal Guru in 2002, said that an alleged link between arrested officer Davinder Singh and 2001 Parliament Attack convict would have made no difference to the trial. Afzal, in a letter to his lawyer, had accused Davinder of being involved in the attack. Justice Dhingra said the allegations would have been distractions and not have had any bearing on the case.
