Dabholkar Murder Case: CBI recovers firearm from creek in Thane district, sent for test

The CBI recovered a firearm from a creek in Thane district of Maharashtra during investigation into the murder case of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar. The Central Bureau of Investigation hired services of a foreign sea explorer agency to search and recover the firearm used in the killing of Narendra Dabholkar. The weapon has been sent for forensic test and crime can only be confirmed after the ballistic report.
