At least 13 people lost their lives after a criminal gang attacked a police convoy in central Mexico. The police patrol team was attacked in the municipality of Coatepec Harinas in the State of Mexico. They were carrying out operations against armed groups in the region when the ambush took place. Police officers and agents from the district attorney's office were among the people who lost their lives.
