Crimes against women and children in Pakistan rose up to 200% in March: Study

As per a study, crime against women & children increased in March amid the coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan. The study also warns that current pandemic will worsen the condition of the poorest sections. SSDO said violence against women increased by over 200% in March as compared to Jan. The crimes were classified into child marriage, child abuse, child labour, domestic abuse, kidnapping, rape, violence against women & murder.
