Alleged middleman Christian Michel, accused of paying Indian officials in the AgustaWestland chopper scam worth Rs 3600 crore, has been retained in a four-day extended custody after the CBI revealed that he had shelled out Rs 92 lakhs for the travel of Indian Air Force officials between 2009 & 2013. CBI intends to use this extended custody to obtain information about documents pertaining to 18.4 million euro contract.
