CBI files FIR for bribery against their special director Rakesh Asthana

Central Bureau of Investigation's special director and second-in-command, Rakesh Asthana has been accused of accepting a bribe of Rs 2 crore from businessman, Moin Qureshi, who is named in multiple money laundering and corruption cases. The CBI filed an FIR against Asthana in a bribery case on October 16, and provided telephone intercepts, WhatsApp messages, a money trail and a statement of a suspected middleman.
