BSF officer held by NIA for helping cross-border drug traffickers

An assistant sub-inspector of the Border Security Force (BSF) has been arrested by the National Intelligence Agency from Jammu & Kashmir’s Handwara for aiding cross-border drug traffickers. The drug traffickers that were helped by the BSF officer named Romesh Kumar were allegedly associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen. Romesh Kumar is the second security personnel to get arrested for helping terrorists.
