'Biggest-Ever Drug Haul': 532 kg Heroin worth Rs 2,700 crore seized at the Attari border

The Customs Department has seized about 532 kg of heroin worth Rs 2,700 crore, that was smuggled in a truck through trade route at the Attari border. This was one of the biggest ever drug haul in the Indian Customs history. The consignment of heroin and 52 kg of mixed narcotics were concealed under hundreds of rock salt bags in the truck. It arrived at Attari from Pakistan. A detailed examination was done on 600 bags.
