At least 34 killed after gunmen attack bus in Ethiopia, similar attacks reported in other regions

The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission informed that at least 34 people were killed after gunmen in western Ethiopia attacked a bus on Saturday night in the Benishangul-Gumuz region. “The latest attack is a grim addition to the human cost which we bear collectively,” said Daniel Bekele, commission head. The Human Rights Commission said there were reports of “similar” attacks and violence in other parts of the region.
