Advocates file petition in Supreme Court seeking FIR against cops involved in Telangana 'encounter'

Advocates GS Mani and Pradeep Kumar Yadav filed a petition in the Supreme Court of India, seeking the registration of an FIR against the police personnel from Telangana who were involved in the exchange of fire that led to the deaths of four rape-murder accused in the early hours of Friday morning. The appellants approached the top court stating that its 2014 guidelines regarding police encounters were not followed.
