G Kishan Reddy, the Minister of State for Home Affairs today informed the parliament that there is an active presence of terrorist group Islamic State (IS) in at least 12 Indian states. He also said that the Islamic State is most active in Kerala. "Investigations by the National Investigation Agency have revealed that the Islamic State is most active in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra," he added.
