The chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police in connection with the gruesome Delhi cantonment case has revealed that the 9-year-old girl was raped because she was Dalit. Two of the four accused- a priest and a factory worker, confessed to raping the girl because she was Dalit. The victim girl was forcibly cremated against her family's wish. The accused also informed two persons about the act, who are now public witnesses.
