8 people sentenced to prison in Saudi in connection with Khashoggi murder case

Eight people have been sentenced to between seven and 20 years in prison by a Saudi Arabian court in connection with the 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. According to local media reports, five people were handed 20-year prison sentences, one person has been imprisoned for 10 years while two people were handed seven-year sentences. Journalist Jamal Khashoggi was murdered on October 2, 2018.
