As many as 7,000 people including 5,000 contract workers have been booked in connection with violence and vandalism at the facility of Wistron Pvt Ltd plant in Kolar. The iPhone manufacturer said a day earlier that it suffered losses of over Rs 437.7 due to the vandalism on December 12. The FIR registered at Vemagal police station mentions vandalism, theft of iPhones, damage to vehicles and other things.
