Sri Lanka security forces were carrying out raids & search operations to nab the suspects of the Easter attacks when 3 fresh explosions went off in Kalmunai city. No casualties or property damage has been reported yet. Sri Lankan president confirmed that cleric Zaharan Hashim died in the hotel attacks. The police chief, country's defence secretary has resigned. The health ministry sharply revised the death toll to 253.
