2012 Nirbhaya gangrape case: All four convicts to be hanged on February 1 at 6 am

Hours after the President of India Ramnath Kovind rejected the mercy plea of one of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape-murder case, a Delhi Court has issued a fresh death warrant for the convicts. The four convicts will now be hanged on February 1 at 6 am. The court had earlier ordered the convicts to be hanged on February 22 following which three of the convicts filed mercy plea that were eventually rejected.
