3 killed in police firing in Bengaluru after violent mob vandalizes Congress MLA's house, 60 cops injured

At least 60 police personnel of Bangalore police were injured in an attack last night by a violent mob comprising people mostly from the Muslim community. The mob that was allegedly angry over a Facebook post attacked a Congress MLA's house in Bengaluru and DJ Halli and KG Halli police stations, setting them ablaze. The police fired tear gas followed by bullets in which 3 rioters were killed. Section 144 has been imposed.
