19 killed in clash between drug gangs in northern Mexico

A shootout between rival drug gangs killed 19 in the northern Mexico border state of Chihuahua. The corpses, 2 grenades, vehicles and guns were discovered at the scene of the clash in the township of Madera. One, found wounded at the spot, later died in hospital. Groups allied with the Sinaloa cartel have long been fighting other gangs, like the Beltran Leyva gang and others linked with Juarez cartel in the area.
