Thieves in Dresden, a German city, have broken into one of Europe's largest collections of art treasures, making off with 3 sets of 18th-century jewellery of immeasurable worth. This is described as the biggest theft that has happened since the 2nd world war as per German media. The theft occurred when a fire broke out, after which the museum's alarm got deactivated and the area was left in total darkness.
