14% rise in sexual harassment complaints in FY19: India Inc report

Indian firms reported more cases of sexual harassment in FY19 than the previous year. BSE 100 companies' data showed a 14% increase in reports of sexual harassment complaints. Experts said an increase in reporting indicates more awareness about the law on sexual harassment at workplace & also the efforts by companies to make sure the workplace is safer for women. Complykaro data shows that a total of 823 cases were reported.
