The Delhi Police have arrested 12 people, including 3 HDFC bank employees, for allegedly trying to make an unauthorised withdrawal from a very high-value NRI account. According to the Deputy Superintendent of police (cyber cell), KPS Malhotra, the 3 HDFC bank employees issued a cheque book, updated the mobile phone number and removed the debt freeze of the account. The accused made 66 attempts of unauthorised online transactions.
