11 killed in gun attack in southwestern state of Oyo in Nigeria

As many as 11 people got killed after gunmen launched an attack in the southwestern state of Oyo in Nigeria on Saturday. The attack was carried out by a group of gunmen on motorcycles in Igangan, a town in the Ibarapa North area of the state. According to the police in Oyo, several houses were burned in the incident. The attackers were fought by local vigilante groups. Those who died included some attackers.
