The use of Moderna's coronavirus vaccine has been suspended by Iceland amid an increased risk of heart inflammation. "As the supply of Pfizer vaccine is sufficient in the territory ... the chief epidemiologist has decided not to use the Moderna vaccine in Iceland," the Health Directorate said on its website. More than 82 percent of Iceland's eligible population ( aged 12 or above), has been fully vaccinated.
