Zomato joins hands with BioD to recycle used cooking oil

Zomato is taking the eco-friendly path consciously and for that, it has taken a new initiative. Zomato has joined hands with BioD energy, biodiesel manufacture to recycle the used cooking oil from the restaurants. According to the recent reports, India is one of the largest consumers of vegetable oil and it has the potential to convert 220 Cr litre of used cooking oil to produce biodiesel by the year 2022.
