World's newest oil producer, Guyana has sent the first cargo of crude to India, the world's third-largest crude importer. The cargo departed this month from a production facility off Guyana's coast in a vessel chartered by trading firm Trafigura. India is looking to diversify its oil imports to reduce its dependence on Middle Eastern crudes as OPEC has decided to cut its oil production through April.
