RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on Monday spoke about India's UPI system at the grand finale of G20 TechSprint 2023 in Mumbai. "With over 10 billion transactions a month, the UPI has become the backbone of digital payments in India," Das said. The RBI governor also said that from financial inclusion through digital payments to using artificial intelligence for credit assessments, India's journey exemplifies innovation with a human touch.
