Vodafone Idea to raise mobile service rates from December 1

Following the highest quarterly loss of Rs 50,922 crore amid the Supreme Court ruling on adjusted gross revenue (AGR), Vodafone Idea announced an increase in mobile service rates from 1 December 2019. Mobile data charges in India are by far the cheapest in the world even as the demand for mobile data services continues to grow rapidly, said a company in a statement. The company did not reveal the quantum of the increase.
