Viu bids adieu to India

Viu, the Hong Kong based OTT platform has decided to fold its operations from India due to cash burn and heavy competition in the market. It was sudden for the employees. The authorities of Viu said that India required heavy investments which the company doesn't have at this moment. The company would rather invest in other Asian countries where it stands in the top 5 rather than in India where it ranks 13th or 14th.
