US business leaders in Hong Kong detained

The chairman and president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong were stopped from entering the Chinese-ruled city Macau and detained by immigration officials amid the China-US trade war. Chairman Robert Grieves and President Tara Joseph were supposed to visit the former Portuguese colony for the chamber’s annual Macau ball on Saturday. Both claimed the authorities didn’t give any reason for the action.
