US blocks import from 4 Chinese companies involved in forced labour in Uighur region

In a fresh move against China and its atrocities in the Uighur region, United States has blocked four companies and a manufacturing facility in northwestern China from shipping their products to it after finding that they relied on forced labour form the detained people of the Uighur community. An order was issued by US Customs and Border Protection to freeze imports from companies that produce cotton, clothing and computer parts.
