The US has blocked more than USD 46 million in funds of designated terrorist groups as a part of its crackdown on foreign terrorist organisations & individuals. The report released by US Dept of Treasury reveals the US blocked nearly USD 400,000 in funds of the LeT & USD 1725 of the JeM. The OFAC is the leading US govt agency responsible for implementing sanctions against the assets of international terrorist organisations.
