UrbanClap raises Rs 1.6 crore from Flipkart CEO

UrbanClap, a start-up which provides home services, has raised Rs 1.6 crore from the CEO of Flipkart, Kalyan Krishnamurthy. In November last year, the firm raised funding of $50 million in a Series D round from Steadview Capital Management and its existing investor Vy Capital. Recently the start-up also announced that it had signed actor Ayushmann Khurrana as its brand ambassador. It is also providing services in Dubai.
