UPI transaction limit doubles up to Rs 2 lakh

The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has doubled the per transaction payment limit for UPI to Rs 2 lakh for selected payments. The move will be effective from April 2020 and it would also boost the transactions for categories such as AMC, B2B Collections, Mutual funds, pre-approved disbursements and credit card payment etc. NPCI is also thinking of adding incremental categories to this enhanced limit.
