The government in United Kingdom led by Boris Johnson has decided to invest 1.3 billion pounds ($1.7 billion) in building projects and provide 2 billion pounds in energy efficiency grants in a bid to boost the country's economy that has suffered severely amid the coronavirus outbreak. 45,000 new homes will be built under the package. The country is currently facing its worst recession for 300 years.
