Uber founder & ex CEO Travis Kalanick will quit from its board of directors by year-end. Kalanick founded Uber in 2009 and turned Uber into the world's largest ride-services company that revolutionised the taxi industry & challenged transportation regulations worldwide. He said that as now Uber was a public company and wants to focus on his current business & philanthropic pursuits. He has sold over $2.5 billion worth of shares.
