United States Treasury has extended the TikTok sale deadline by seven days. The new deadline date is December 4. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States has given the extension to ByeDance "to allow time to review a revised submission that the Committee recently received." The use of the app was banned by the Trump administration over security concerns after which, selling the operations became inevitable.
