Bill and Melinda Gates' foundation sold hundreds of millions of dollars worth of shares and entire investments of Apple and Twitter at the end of March, according to Securities and Exchange Commission papers first reported by Barron's. The Gates asked that their assets be divided according to the 'separation agreement'. With $4 billion already wired to Melinda after their divorce announcement saying their marriage was "broken".
