Technical glitch leads to trading halt on NSE

The live price quotes of spot Nifty and Bank Nifty indexes stopped updating after a technical glitch led to the halting of trade on NSE. "There is an issue with live ticks for NSE indices (Nifty 50, Nifty Bank and others) across brokers. We are in touch with NSE to have this fixed," said brokerage firm Zerodha. Nifty 50 index has been stuck at 14,820 and traders were left in a panic due to the sudden halt.
