Suzuki bumps investment in India by more than 3000 crores.

Content HeadTo increase the cars production capacity in India, Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp on Thursday decided to invest a whopping amount of Rs.3800 crore to build a third production unit in Gujarat which would be operational by 2020. Also, a new unit to produce lithium ion batteries will be set up in partnership with Toshiba and Denso. These three firms have joined hands to tap the rising popularity of electric vehicles in India.
