Supreme Court directs centre to prepare plan for recovery of AGR related dues

The Supreme Court has asked the government to chart a plan for the recovery of adjusted gross revenue (AGR)-related dues from bankrupt telecom operators, including Reliance Communications Ltd (RCom), Aircel Group and Videocon Communications Ltd. The top court has asked the centre to consider selling off the spectrum under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) to recover the dues as normal recovery seems impossible.
