Billionaire Gautam Adani-led Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) is poised to ramp up local manufacturing to build an ecosystem of suppliers for solar cells and modules. The industrialist has said Chinese solar modules imports, which have around 90% share in the Indian market, will decline to negligible levels in 3-5 years. Adani's company has a target to become the world leader in renewable energy by 2025 with a capacity of 25 GW.
