ShareChat begins layoffs; Around 500 full-time employees to be sacked, CEO Ankush Sachdeva tells staff

Homegrown social media platform ShareChat has announced that 20% of its employees will be fired in a fresh round of layoffs. ShareChat CEO, Ankush Sachdeva tells that around 500 employees will be sacked. Sachdeva said, “We are taking a very difficult decision today to part ways with around 20% of our talented FTEs (full-time employees) to ensure the financial health and longevity of our company in the current uncertain macroeconomic environment.”
